Chef John Botti is renowned in the region for his use of local vendors and markets. A graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, Chef John’s culinary philosophy centers around incorporating the robust flavors of farm-fresh ingredients as not just a staple, but a star, in every dish. Chef John, a Middletown, N.Y. native, was the owner and operator of John’s Harvest Inn for over 30 years, where he honed his skills in finding and using locally sourced and farm-fresh food.
Chef John proudly utilizes local foods, cheese, and wines to craft The Homestead Restaurant + Lounge’s seasonal farm-to-table menu as well as customized catering menus for weddings + special events at The Eldred Preserve.
