I am a New York City-based Latina food writer, on-camera host, restaurant critic, cook, and recipe developer for publications like the Michelin Guide, Zagat, Condé Nast Traveler, Wine Enthusiast, Eater, Bon Appétit, and more. I am also a former James Beard Award Foundation judge.
Latin-ish is my debut cookbook (W.W. Norton/Countryman Press), out August 2024. I have been featured on-camera on the TODAY Show, NYT Cooking, and the Food Network among many television appearances as an expert. I am also a frequent host for digital series and satellite media tours (SMTs). I was previously the host of United States of Spirits on Spirits Network, Driven to Dine on MSG Networks. I am a member of the National Association of Hispanic Journalists, the Newswomen’s Press Club of New York, and the International Association of Culinary Professionals.
