WHAT TO EXPECT AT THE NEW CATSKILL CUISINE FESTIVAL

A new food festival enters the Catskills and the event, Catskill Cuisine, already has some heavy-hitter talent lined up to participate in the inaugural fest. The event, May 12–13, features headliner celebrities like Alton Brown, Scott Conant, and Alex Guarnaschelli.

Beyond celebrity chef appearances, workshops, tastings, and demos, the festival will also offer family-friendly entertainment and music, all at Bethel Woods Center for the Arts, known as the site of the 1969 Woodstock festival. Regional cuisine, farmers, and products will also be highlighted.

General admission tickets include access to cooking demos, tastings, appearances, and kids’ events, but VIP passes offer extra opportunities for fun, like meet and greets with chefs and behind-the-scenes tours.

Organizers expect up to 3,000 attendees for the inaugural event.
