Theodore Iwachiw
“Chef Ted” Iwachiw is the Executive Chef for Resorts World Catskills in Monticello, NY, a position he’s held since September of 2022. He oversees culinary operations for the entire property, which includes five restaurants, a food hall, a team member dining room, and banquet operations.
Prior to joining Resorts World Catskills, Chef Ted served as Executive Chef of Valley Forge Casino Resort in King of Prussia, PA, where he supervised day-to-day operations at the property’s four restaurants and other dining facilities.
Chef Ted was the opening Executive Chef of Live! Casino & Hotel in Philadelphia, PA and was Regional Executive Chef for Davio’s Northern Italian Steakhouse, overseeing culinary operations at two of its Pennsylvania locations and one in New York City. He was Executive Chef for Wolf Gang Puck Catering in Lafayette Hill, PA. As Executive Chef/Food and Beverage Director at the Germantown Cricket Club in Philadelphia, PA, he was responsible for turning around the Food and Beverage operation.
Ted’s on Main, his critically acclaimed restaurant in Medford, NJ, garnered a 2-bell review from The Philadelphia Inquirer’s restaurant critic in 2008.
Chef has a vast and diverse background in the culinary arts field. He has worked for Loews Hotels in Philadelphia and New Orleans and the Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas. Early in his career, he also worked under the direction of esteemed Executive Chef Hidemasa Yamamoto at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Washington, D.C.
Chef Ted is a graduate of the Academy of Culinary Arts in Mays Landing, NJ. He lives in Monticello, New York.
